Stanford Who's Who Find Rare Gems In Dedicated Jewelry Duo
Andrew and Libby Want have been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of their exceptional effort in the Jewelry Industry.

ASHMORE, QLD, AUSTRALIA, November 12, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ --Andrew and Libby Want have been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of their exceptional effort in the Jewelry Industry. As Owners of Want Jewellery and DFL Valuation for the past 14 years, they have routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Want Jewellery is a business which provides custom made jewelry service and jewelry valuing. They specialize in custom, handmade wedding and engagement rings, but they also offer an extensive range of rings, necklaces, pearls, earrings and bracelets. They were the recipients of the International ODJA Prestige Professional Award 2009/10. Want Jewellery is also being added to Volume 8 and 9 of Master Jeweller magazine. Andrew and Libby are responsible for managing all major aspects of the business.

Andrew started as an apprentice, eventually becoming a qualified jeweler and taking over the business. After struggling with the workload, he took on a business partner who literally ran the business into the ground. Andrew then got rid of his business partner and asked Libby, who was a hairdresser and his girlfriend at the time, to help out three days a week. The business began to take a major upturn, prompting Libby to sell her salon which she had run for 12 years.

From there, Libby decided to go back to school, earning Gemmologist and Jewellery Valuer degrees in order to further establish the business. Soon after, they both became qualified as CAD Jewellery Designers and closed their store to work from a studio at home. This became the best move they ever made as their business is stronger than ever and they are creating new, amazing jewelry every day.

During her educational career, Libby earned a Double Degree in Gemological Services and Gem Stones Valuation Procedures. Andrew and Libby have been the recipients of an International Design Award. They are members of the Gemological Association of Australia, Jewellers Association of Australia, and the National Council of Jewellery Valuers.
