The Contessa Couture Women Travels in Style
Guests of Contessa Couture boutique were treated to a travel fashion show at the 121 Venice Avenue West location.

SARASOTA, FL, May 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guests of Contessa Couture boutique were treated to a travel fashion show at the 121 Venice Avenue West location. Those attending were able to see up close how to travel casually yet still maintain style through the latest collection for travel including formal wear. Customers and even a few local celebrities walked the run way to show off travel ensembles perfect for a one tank day trip, boarding that plan or cruise ship to exotic locations afar or black tie formal at the captains table. Each model sashayed completely attired from head to toe in three changes with the last being formal.

The Boutique partnered with Admiral Travel, Michael's on East, Connoisseur Club, Patti Paull from Avenue Hair Design created hair style, make up was applied by Linda Cook and photography was handled by Camille Payatte.

Badra Nanyakkara emceed the line up and explained each outfit in detail along with pricing for each outfit. The staff made sure each model was in the line up and assisted with the fast paced changes between runway walks. Linda Gross, of Advice kept the line up moving.
Over a dozen of local stylish customers including Diana Kelly, Miss Florida Gator 2009 walked the runway to show off the latest in travel ensembles. Prior to the runway show, each guest was provided a line up sheet complete with description and pricing for the fashions.

The oohs and aahs could be heard up and down the avenue as these designer pieces were viewed. All fashions were available for fittings and sale immediately after the runway show. More than one guest commented that the show had the feel of New York, LA or even Milan. Order forms were completed, wine was enjoyed, some special orders were placed and the guests lingered on into the evening. Attendees left with a clear understanding that first impressions work in travel as they do in any situation. The Contessa Couture staff is able to help with the right look for the right destination
