Montclair High School's Strike-A-Pose Organization Presents Networking for a cause, Strike-A-Pose for Epilepsy
A fashion show and networking event for a cause.
MONTCLAIR, NJ, January 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- By the end of high school, students are faced with which direction their life will take after graduation but not high school Seniors Janelle Rivera and Tamara Thompson. Their life's motivation involves fashion and creating their own destinies through the Strike-A-Pose Fashion Club at Montclair High School in New Jersey. Created in 2007 with their advisor and fashion mentor Stacey Angela Williams, Janelle and Tamara have learned early on what it means to live your dreams and help others in the process.
On Saturday January 24, 2009, the Strike-A-Pose Organization will host Networking for a Cause/Strike-A-Pose for Epilepsy at the beautiful Bobbi Brown Studio located 10 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair, NJ 07042 from 5 PM until 8 PM. This event will preview the Spring/ 2009 Tommy Hilfiger collection, Spring/Summer 2009 accessories collection from Stacey Angela, and clothing from the fabulous Ruby boutique. There will also be Cosmetic art from celebrity make-up artist Bobbi Brown and a team of celebrity hairstylists from Styles With Grace. Red carpet for the event will be from 5:15 PM to 6 PM, show time at 6:45 PM and networking to follow. There is a suggested $20.00 donation which will directly benefit Epilepsy Awareness and treatment.

ABOUT THE STRIKE-A-POSE ORGANIZATION
The STRIKE-A-POSE fashion club was established to provide students with a real life experience of what the fashion business is while at the same time bringing attention to Epilepsy, a disease that affects 2.5 million people in the United States. Members will learn to produce an effective fashion show, how to cast models, select music, how to seek sponsorship, marketing and promotion and how to build an effective team. By the end of the year each student will know how to design their own pieces, present to buyers, style looks etc.
